Rembers himself drawing from his earliest childhood memories. Began 1982 drawing for the satirical weekly El Jueves. Worked i. a. for El Periódico and La Vanguardia newspapers as well as for the Lecturas weekly.

Was awarded the 1987 Apeŀles Mestres prize for the illustrations of Vull una medulla! (I want a medal!; Destino, Barcelona, 1987) and publishes children’s books since, among which Una temporada a Calcuta (A season in Calcutta; Media Vaca, Valencia, 2001), for which he received the prize for the best Illustrator at the 2001 Bolonia children’s bookfair; Contes terrorífics de fantasmes (Gruesome Ghost Stories; text by Joan de Déu; Timun Mas, Barcelona, 2004), which received the 2003 Serra d’Or prize; Les desventures de la ventafocs (Cinderella’s Misadventures; text by Josep Lorman; Marge Books, Barcelona, 2007); or La Kaputxeta negra i el lleó ferotge (Little Black Riding Hood and the Big Bad Lion; Marge Books, Barcelona, 2008).
