Maria Kusmuk

(Fernández, 1967)

Completed her studies as a notary public in Tucumán (Argentina) before turning to photography, a world she discovered as a pupil of Andy Goldstein’s.

María Kusmuk took part in a great many collective and individual exxhibitions, her Puerperum Mediaticum project (2003) deserving a special mention. She also worked with several papers and reviews such as Argentinean daily Clarín‘s cultural supplement, for which over seven years she developed a characteristical style of portraiting artists.

Today, she combines her artistic search with extensive teaching.
