Daniel Aixelà i Sala

(Barcelona, 1951) Into restaurants from childhood on, given that his family founded and managed the El Abrevadero restaurant, a Barcelona classic. His experience in the sector is broad: he was a waiter; a Maître; a cook; a catering service businessman; an owner of restaurants in Begur and Barcelona; and the director of the Hostelry School at Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelona). He currently works as gastronomic counsel and heads Coccions, a company specialising in entertainment and teambuilding with cooking as an excuse.
