Jordi Jané-Lligé

(Terrassa, 1968)

A poet, translator from German  and a professor at the Department of English and German Philology of the Autonomous University Barcelona (UAB). His research has focused on literary tradition and reception issues, notably of Heinrich Böll’s work and of German post-war literature.

He translated into Spanish and Catalan authors such as Elfriede Jelinek; Andrea Maria Schenkel; Sasa Stanisic; or Charlotte Roche. Has published collections of poems and poetic prose: Al cap de quinze anys (Fifteen Years On); Poemes geomètrics (Geometric Poems); Els vestits de la lluna (The Moon’s Dresses); Súplicas a un paisaje, desnudo (Begging a Landscape, Nude).
